Feverfew has been known to be used for relieving migraines, calm rheumatoid arthritis, treating dermatitis, potentially combat cancer, and prevent blood clots.
Caution: Pregnant & nursing mothers should NOT use Feverfew or children 2 years old and younger. Children older than 2 years old should be given consent from their pediatrician to use this herb.
It is possible to have an allergic reaction to Feverfew if there are allergies to ragweed and/or chryanthemums.
Feverfew should NOT be taken with other blood-thinning agents such as aspirin, ginkgo biloba, etc., and may interact with anesthesia.
Let your doctor know if you need anesthesia that you are taking Feverfew.
Less serious side effects may include abdominal pain, indigestion, gas, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, nervousness.
It is not a good idea to stop abruptly using Feverfew if using more than 1 week. Stopping abruptly may cause headaches, anxiety, fatigue, muscle stiffness and/or joint pain.
